The Navi + USB interface is the perfect connection for connecting navigation systems or other electrical devices, e.g. USB sockets, to BMW motorcycles. The interface also solves the problem of gradual battery discharge when connecting non-original navigation systems such as Garmin Zumo series navigation systems or TomTom Rider devices. In addition, all other additional devices are safely switched off from the BMW motorcycle CAN bus, preventing the battery from discharging. Without using the BMW Navi + USB interface, the battery is loaded and discharged unnoticed even when the ignition is turned off. The interface reliably separates the power connection between the motorcycle and the navigation system and protects the battery from discharging. The connection is ideally made using the prepared BMW SZ plug connection - Cartool plug (SZ for special accessories) on all BMW motorcycles.
